Creating unique, beautiful jewellery is Teresa's passion. In England, Teresa was surrounded by the Fashion Industry, with her mum being a trained couturier. It was in jewellery where Teresa's creativity shone.
In 1985, Teresa launched her designs and participated in art shows across Ontario. Later, with her company Cupid & Psyche, it was at the Sierra Summer Festival in Yorkville, Toronto where she often met and sold to celebrities. In 2001, she opened her first boutique in the Village of Cookstown. Now located in the beautiful town of Aurora, Teresa's store has been compared to boutiques in New York, Paris, La Jolla, L.A. and San Francisco.
Teresa’s jewellery travels all over Canada and the world and what's exciting to her is when these tourists come back and seek her out to buy more.
Being a market leader, Teresa's accessory boutique was the first of it's kind to feature jewellery made by Owner along with other Canadian designers. Beautiful scarves, handbags, belts and other jewels from Canada, United States, Brazil, Denmark, Italy and Israel adorn the shelves of the store.
Clients seek out wardrobe advice on a regular basis and having a fitting room in the store helps clients see the finished look. Custom orders are taken daily for Bridal, Prom and other special occasions. There's a sitting area where tired clients, friends and spouses can sit and relax.
"Our clients love that personal touch especially when they get pieces designed specially for them", says Teresa.
Teresa's designs will be the featured jewellery at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival's eTalk Tastemakers Gift Lounge and can be currently seen being worn by hosts on City TV.
Teresa has appeared on Talk TV, CityLine, Fit & Fabulous on Aurora Cable, and Daytime on Rogers Cable.
